PRAYER PAGE November 25, 2007  This Sunday we will have a presentation of Gideon’s Bible distribution throughout the world. The presenter will be Steve Sarkisian from the San Francisco camp. Steve will explain the purpose of the Gideons and how we as a church can support this work. Pray that God will give Steve the words to encourage us to use this organization to help promote the reading of the Bible. In preparations for the prayer and fasting day on November 30, beginning at 6:00 P.M. until December 1, 6:00 P.M. the following three items should be remembered: That God will continue to open the doors of opportunity to minister to the people of all nations in the San Bruno area. To give thanks to the LORD for His faithfulness in supplying us with people who will financially support this church. That God’s people will obey His word and not deny His Name. A prayer for meekness: Lord, keep me from becoming talkative and possessed with the idea that I must express myself on every subject. Release me from the craving to straighten out everyone’s affairs. Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally I may be wrong. Make me helpful, but not bossy. With my vast store of wisdom and experience, it does seem a pity not to use it all-but you know, LORD, that I want a few friends at the end. Amen!
