PRAYER PAGE November 18, 2007   A THANKSGIVING TO ALMIGHTY GOD   Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, from whom comes every good and perfect gift, we call to remembrance your loving kindness and your tender mercies. With grateful hearts we lift up to you the voice of our thanksgiving.   We praise You, O God: For the work we are enabled to do, and for the truth we are permitted to learn, and the good that has been in our lives.   We praise You, O God: For all the comforts and gladness of life; for our homes and all our home-blessings. For our family and friends from whom we receive the pleasures of social blessings.   We praise You, O God: Most of all and above all, for the gift of Your Son, Jesus the Christ, and all helps and hopes which are ours as His disciples. Thank you for His life and death,-His resurrection and ascension for our redemption. Praise You for the presence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit and for all the ministries of Your Truth and Grace.
