Belle Ettlin, Pastor Eric's wife owns the ice cream shop.   One Nation Under God In 1892, Francis Bellamy, a minister from Boston, first published the Pledge of Allegiance. Originally the word "God" was not in the pledge. But on June 14, 1954, President Eisenhower signed into law a provision that added the words "under God" to the pledge. Later President Eisenhower commented, "In this way we are reaffirming the transcendence of religious faith in America's heritage and future; in this way we shall constantly strengthen those spiritual weapons which forever will be our country's powerful resource in peace and war.   NOTHING ELSE RUINS THE TRUTH LIKE STRETCHING IT.   WE ALWAYS HOLD HANDS.
